No it's not the same thing. This is only the interface
between the K3 output, including buffered amplifier, QSD detector
(probably similar to Softrock) and two isolated I and Q outputs
which are fed to a sound card in the computer. The DSP software is
resident on the computer with a band scope display on the computer
monitor. The computer would also host either HRD or PowerSDR for
integrating the point and click display with control of the K3.
K8ZOA's product is an integrated solution including all of
the above in one package.
