Just a fun note:
I got this little circuit in the mail yesterday and put it together last
night.
Its pretty cool, but lacks AGC in the front-end for serious use.
It comes with a gain pot and it really does find zero-beat well.
For kicks I might add AGC to it to see how effectual it might be.
This makes me wonder if someone has built zero-beat into a band-scanning
software?
I programmed a PIC to control a T.T. Jupiter for band-scanning last
year.
The zero-beat feature would be a neat little addition.
