Okay, You know that is what I thought too.  And I did do a re-CAL PLL on 40.
Thanks guys!

""Hi Rowland,

Nothing wrong as cal PLL is only done on 40m these days. Should be noted in erata with the 160 kit. If not it is remiss of Elecraft to keep supplying an obsolete instruction sheet.

Regards,
Bob, G3VVT""

""Hello Roland - I think that you only do CAL PLL on 40 meters even when  you
add the 160 meter board.  I could be wrong but that's what I recall.  73 es

RE: re:160 linerization/infor 232

The documentation is correct. Some builders will need to do CAL PLL on 160,
others do it only on 40 meters. It depends upon the version of the firmware
in the K2.

The second item on the errata sheet provided with the manual reads:

"Page 9, first three alignment steps: These three steps are only necessary
if your K2 firmware is older than revision 2.00. (With revision 2.00 and up,
CAL PLL is done only once, and only on 40 meters, so there's no need to do
it when installing the 160 m option.)"
