Basic connection between PC --> SL-1+ --> K2, in my
setup is:
Two stereo cables from soundcard (1ea for mic in
and spkr out) to SL-1+.
Mono cable from K2 rear spkr jack to SL-1+ rear
Spkr jack.
RJ-45 to 8-pin round mic connector cable from SL-1+
(RJ-45 end) to K2 (8-pin connector end). (As you are
aware, there is no provision to plug the mic into the
SL-1+).
Information on how to configure jumper settings &
power to SL-1+ is on pgs 2-5 (most of this is on pgs
3&4) of the SL-1+ manual. You do need to know how your
mic is set up (Kenwood, Icom, etc) from the K2SB
manual. Mine was wired as a Kenwood mic, as I have an
MC-60A.
9v batt supplies power to the rear power jack on the
SL-1+.
Sounds worse than it is, really not too difficult to
do, suggest you read pages 2-5 a couple of times
before starting the setup.
