indeed a WD8VLL

QRZ.com shows three Michael Farnsworth matches, and KD8VLL (not WD8VLL)
is one of them. And KD8VLL is found by the FCC call sign search.

The key phrase is "posing as" -- a successful scan always requires some
small amount of truth.

Also "there is a scammer on the internet" is not news.  There have been
scammers on the internet since the 70's.
