sending psk with paddles

Hi,

Just trying this and of course it works but I can't seem to find how
to shut off the psk tones when I am sending cw, I hear both my cw and
the psk tones and it's most bothersome hearing that constant whine in
the background when I'm trying to work the iambic.

Looked in the manual but didn't see how to shut the background xmit
tone off & just let me hear my CW only.

Suggestions welcomed!

Hi Gary,

The monitor levels for the CW sidetone and FSK/PSK are seperate settings.

Go to CW mode, and set the CW sidetone (monitor) level you want. Then switch to data (FSK/PSK) and set the Monitor level to zero.

The CW sidetone will remain, but FSK/PSK will be muted.
