_slightly_ off-topic re: rf probe in the K2 kit

David C Dawson-2
What is the upper bandwidth of the RF probe one builds for the K2?
I wonder if it can reach six meters?
I would like to be able to peak a six meter QRP tranceiver I
re-crystalled from a 49MHz walkie-talkie.
Thanks.

Don Wilhelm-3
David,

The spec'ed frequency of the K2 internal frequency counter is 40 MHz -
whether it will work at 50 MHz is one thing to be investigated.  The probe
would have to be arranged with a ground to use it on a device external to
the K2 (the stock internal probe will not do the job).

Thanks, Don.
I was thinking of the other voltage probe, though this might be useful
too.
As the circuit is crystal controlled and internally adjusted I think the
frequency will be correct; it is the filters I need to adjust.
