slow CW

just finished my new KX1, How do I get the code lower than the 10 WPM, I'm just getting started and I am not quite up there yet.

You'll be up there before you know it, OM.  In the meantime  just leave more
space between the characters. Besides, hearing 5wpm CW  sent with 10wpm
characters is said to be a better way of learning.

I used my KY-562/U (J-37) straight key with my KX1 until I felt more
comfortable with a paddle at faster speeds
