I just had a great Elecraft day, in fact a good Elecraft week.
I built my K2 #4519 over the past winter. It works fine. This fall
I decided to change my antenna from a Windom to a 450 ohm ladder
line fed 135' dipole. I therefore ordered a BL1 balun to follow the
KAT2 tuner, feeding the new antenna system at the K2. In addition I
ordered the KIO2 module so that I could control the K2 with my Mac
Powerbook. Everything went flawlessly, and the handshake is 100%.
We had absolutely wonderful fall weather for the exterior antenna
work which is quite at variance with my chosen time for antenna
work. It is so much nicer without frozen fingers.
Thanks Elecraft for making radio fun again.
