Sure you can. But....
Take a copy of the K3 Util program with you and just do a install. Should work on 98, but I am not sure. On the same CD, burn the latest or needed install files....unzipped...and then browse to them and load. Easy - Peasy!

In our day and age it seems that Common Sense is in short supply. If you don't have any Common Sense - get some Common Sense and use it. If you can't find any Common Sense, ask for help from somebody who has some Common Sense. Is Common Sense divine?

Hi Gents,
I know this has been discussed quite some time
ago and the issue may not have been fully resolved
since then....but let me ask, can I do a firmware upgrade (or BETA)
using the "K3 Firmware Updates and K3 Download/Config Utility"
saved on a CD? The computer *may* have Windows XP
or Windows 98...not sure which will be available. I will not
have internet access.
Thanks,
Charlie, N0TT
