Have you set the filters up correctly? You can use the K3 Utility to do it quickly and then use the XFIL button to check to see if the filters key in properly.

Hello All,
I installed a 6Hz. AM filter and am having trouble trying to get it to work ! ! ! I am wondering If I missed something in the upgrades and did Elecraft shut down the AM option in the radio for a little bit while they are working on upgrades ? I installed the filter in the first slot for the widest and then have the 2.8HZ and 2.1Hz. and so on... I read the manual many times and have all the other filters working fine ! ! ! maybe I missed something ? ? ?

I am running K3 Utility ver. 1.2.3.18/firmware,MCU03.11/FPF 01.00/DSP 02.15
I have it set up in the Utility...then check it in the radio
I am starting to think I may have a bad filter ? ? ?
Installed it with the factory screw that came with it...1/4" shiny and on put a snug (not to firm) setting with the screw driver...maybe I'll call Inrad after the Holiday ! ! !
