Audio seems low

I have not had my K2 on for several months now due to the other things in my life.  I turned it on this morning and started working K9OZ (another K2 Addict) and the audio started to dwindle.  I had to crank up the audio all the way to hear the CW.  I have check antennas, coax, and listen to another rig.  The audio has just faded away.  Anyone have an idea?
