HI

The DL1 is a 50 ohm load but the RF detector is connected across only 1/2 of the load. The detector is also a peak detector so you need to convert the peak voltage read on the meter to RMS. So the first thing is to double the read voltage because of the voltage divider on the DL1 then convert to RMS by multiplying by .707 then the V * V / 50 should work. The easiest method is to use the conversion chart that is in the DL1 manual. It is set up so you plug in the read DC voltage and you get the power out in watts.

  Thanks,

I now understand how the K2 react when tuning. But, I was suspecting
something, because I found that my power output seems to be more lower
that is suppose to be. Correct me if i'm wrong, but when I test the
output power, U use the DL1 dummy load, I set my K2, for example at
10W, and push the tune button. While I have my DMM meter set to DC
connected to the two tips on my dummy load, I read the vDC. After I
  calculate V * V / 50 omhs, I also check that the dummy load I built is
  effectively 50 ohm.

And the result are really lower that is suppose to be. Am I doing
  something wrong, I guess ? ;-)

  Thanks for your patience....
