Hi group,

This weekend I've for the first time tried out N1MM SO2V with my K3
with sub-receiver, in the ARRL DX contest CW. The combination works
great. There is one peculiar thing, though.

When RX focus is on one VFO and TX focus is on the other, and I press
a Fn key, N1MM will move TX focus to the VFO where the RX focus is.
This does work, but the timing is awkward:
- I see that N1MM switches TX focus (the red dot moves from the one
entry window to the other, and on the K3 I see the SPLIT symbol turn
on or off [depending on whether the TX focus moves to VFO B or VFO A])
- Then nothing happens for about 1.5 seconds
- Then N1MM sends the message stored in the Fn key that I pressed

What's causing the 1.5 seconds time delay? Any pointers?

73,

Frank PA4N

P.S. When I manually move the TX focus to the VFO having RX focus
(using Alt-Left arrow or Alt-Right arrow) followed immediately by an
Fn key, transmission starts immediately. (And yes, the radio is ready
for transmit: I've many times switched TX focus manually using this
method, followed by F4 (=PA4N), and each time the other station got
my call okay; if the radio wouldn't have been ready, I'd except the
other stations mistaking for e.g. GA4N).
