I wonder if the AMP has a low drive switch for the 10 watt K3? If does, this will make it a good option for those running small QRP radios like the FT817. A KPA500 would be preferable to running a garbage CB amp like many people do. Tokyo high power has this feature on many of their amps. I think FCC rules prohibit low drive amps, I am not sure if this is allowed under the new changed FCC AMP rules.
Time will tell.
