P3 internal Power Supply Question

Probably premature to ask this but I understand the P3 has some empty space which some have suggested might accomodate a power
supply for the attached K3.
An example might be an Astron SS-30 removed from it's housing...footprint approximately 4.5 x 5.5"
Does anyone have info on the dimensions of the unused floor space in the P3?
