If a KSYN3 was completely unmodified, the mods should be done as follows:

1.  SMD version (only) of KSYN3 ALC.
2.  K3SYN DDS Gain (your #3 below).
3.  KSYN3 Stiffener (your #2 below).

This way there's no rework.  Also remember that the DDS Gain mod is not necessary for the Sub RX KSYN3 (if you do not later accidentally swap KSYN3 boards), and the recent Stiffener mod is not necessary if the internal speaker is not used during transmit (e.g. for those who use an external speaker or headphones).

Sorry you must redo your ALC mod with SMD.  I would need to do the same if I needed the Stiffener mod.

I have done the first mod, but would have to undo it and redo it if I did the the second mod.  And the third mod would then await.

Fortunately, I have only one KSYN3 board--not having bought a second receiver (which includes a second KSYN3).
