small arrow on P3

That tells you "in what direction" your other VFO is set to...and that is
is "off scale" for what you currently have displayed.

To prove it to yourself, push the A>B button so that both VFO's are on the
same frequency.  The arrow should "go away."  Now turn the knob on VFO B
until the marker goes off screen (either direction) and the arrow will
'show up' again.
