Thanks for all of the comments. I had an early experience in ham radio
with satellites, AO-10 and AO-13, at frequencies 144, 430, 1.3 Ghz and 2.4
Ghz. Because of those frequencies N-connectors became a way of life. So I
automatically think of N-connectors when I am working with those
frequencies. If Elecraft offered the directional coupler with
N-connectors, I would buy it and pay extra for the connectors.
