Further; the adapter cable for use with the K3/P3 is the KUSB, not KXUSB.

It's not completely clear what Scott was planning to interchange. If
it's really a KXUSB (for use with something other than the P3), I
believe that the 'a' on "KXUSBa" just means that it's a
separate/"extra" item (not bundled with a device that uses it).
