If its moving around, I might drill holes in a board that match the feet of
the key and set it down on into the holes. Bolt, glue, clamp the board down
to your table as you see fit.

Subject: [Elecraft] Elecraft Hex Key
I have been relearning to send CW again. I am using a Bencher/Elecraft Hex
Key Serial # E067.
It is a typical bencher key with a weight of 3 lbs 2 ounces. I guess I am
heavy handed and have been slapping that thing around the desk like a red
headed step child. lol.
I went and looked for a heavy key and about fell off the chair to find that
the Bencher Hex is now selling for $325.
Does anyone know how many of the Bencher/Elecraft keys were made?
I did find a heavy key, I ordered the K8RA Big Dog P5 key at 7 lbs. I hope
it stays put.
Any suggestions about tips to help me send lighter and or the number of
Elecraft hex keys made I would appreciated it.
Thanks
