Ever since loading the latest firmware this problem has occurred:
I am listening to a cw signal with the bandwidth set to maximum (2.8 Khz on the display) I have centered a cw signal in the exact center of the cwt display .. I am exactly on frequency. I have the bandwidth display centered using the shift control. Then I reduce bandwidth slowly and when I get down to about 500 hertz the signal nearly disappears. I can recover it using the shift control (about FC 35 on the display) but as I continue reducing bandwidth more and more shift is needed to hold the signal until at about 200 hertz bandwidth there is no signal left and the shift control is no longer effective. Before the last firmware upgrade I could crank the bandwidth down to 50 hertz while everything remained centered on the display. I have checked and rechecked all filter settings. They are all as I had them set up originally. What has happened? Well, I had not checked all of the filter settings after all. Two of my
filters were set to OFF. Doh !! Sorry for the bandwidth.
