wound transformers with wrong wire

Jeff Kinzli
Last night I finished K2 #5945. Going through my work (and especially
while winding the last few transformer toroids) I realized that on T5,
and a couple others, I used the green thicker wire rather than the
thin green magnet wire.

Doh! Talk about missing the boat!

Well, everything *appears* to be working properly, should I leave them
as-is, or rewind them with the green magnet wire?

Thanks, and  you can imagine how I must feel right about now :)

Jeff,

With toroids, a turn is a turn, no matter what the wire or its color.  If it
is working, then don't 'fix' it - it will continue to work just fine.

OTOH, if you are big into asthetics, then by all means, change to the
'right' wire.
