wspr and k3

wspr is a very low power beconing mode ... see k1jt .. it is a
derivitive of wsjt ..
I wonder if it is conceiveable that the k3 could incoporate wspr
decoding in its firmware ...
I should not imaging becon transmitting would be a problem ..

rational .. wspr beacons may become very common given the growth curve
on the wspr database ...
it could conceivably provide real time all band propogation
information .. somewhat similar to ale ..

Given the finite space available firmware it really only makes sense for the K3 to support modes that are widely used. Hence it supports RTTY and PSK31 but not MFSK, Olivia and many other modes that would probably be used by a greater number of operators if they were available than a beacon mode.
