25A power supply question

Hello to the list from a first-time poster.
I have a KX3, and have a KXPA100 amplifier on order. I see that my 20A Tripp-Lite linear power supply isn't sufficient to power both of these, so I'm researching other supplies. Astron seems to be the gold standard, but I also see some MFJ supplies. The 3045MV is a 30A linear supply, and looks good from the specs. Any opinions on this one? MFJ also has the 4245 45A switching supply, and the DX Engineering catalog says, "No RF hash? These power supplies are clean!" Are they really clean? I don't want ANY hash spoiling my quiet location, and will avoid any switching supply that creates receive noise. Does anyone have experience with this line of MFJ switching supplies? What about the Astron ASR-SS-30M 30A switching supply. Quiet or noisy? Should I even consider a switching supply, or stick with a linear model? The Astron ASR-RS-35M looks good, albeit more expensive than the MFJ 3045MV. I've had the MFJ-4245MV supply for several years and think it is an OK PS. I detect no crud on any of the bands when powering my K3 with it. However, I normally use a solar / battery system and the '4245 doesn't get a lot of use any more. One thing that is annoying about it is that the fan runs at high speed all the time, right from power-on to drawing full current for several minutes. That's my only complaint about it. There was an article somewhere on the 'net about a mod to one of the other MFJ supplies to make the fan operate like the K3, based on heat. But, I'm pretty sure it was NOT for this '4245 model. I just picked up a Powerwerx SPS-30DM on the recommendation of a friend after I complained about RF hash from my then-current power supply. I've found it very quiet. The difference between old and new was pretty amazing. You might consider the Powerwex supply as well. Check this site out. I have purchased several for 100 W+ applications with no RFI and they run cool.

Very happy with my Powerwerx SPS-30DM. Small, quiet fan when it comes
on, RF-clean. I power a K2/100 and K2/10, plus a few station accessories. Also recommend Powerwerx for Anderson Power Poles and accessories. Very nice company to do business with. I'm running 2x SS-30M and no noticeable noise on 6m EME. They are about
10 years old, not sure if current production is any different. I went through the same thing last year. I was using a Astron 50 amp supply
but the heat it threw was driving me out of the shack. After research, and the strong recommendation of several K3 owners, I purchased two Powerwrex SS-30DV. These are 25 amp continuous duty switching supplies with a 30 amp surge. Very quiet and little heat. I have one to power the K3 alone and the other to power the rest of the 12 volt gear that I use.
