Adjusting Filters (K3 newbie)

Brian Short-3
 I am confused about the filters and the bandwidth display...

I get a display that has 2 bars on far left and right.

The Bandwidth widens and narrows the bars in the middle,
but the bars stay at the edges? Like this:

|   ||||||   |

narrows to

|     ||     |

but, why not

     ||

or

    |||||

only?

I have 1kHz, 500Hz, and 200Hz filters.

I am making QSOs etc, but seems strange.

Confused?

Joe Subich, W4TV-4

You have APF engaged.  *HOLD* the XFIL/Dual PB button.

Brian,

You have Dual Passband turned on - see page 33 in the K3 manual.

You are, of course, correct Joe.
Thanks to Joe, Don, and others.

That works better for now :)
