Anderson power pole

Hi,
One of my cables slipped out of the Anderson power pole- I didn´t solder it properly.Is there a way of getting the piece of metal out of its socket, or do I need a new pole. I tried to get it out, but I´m a bit concerned to break it. 73, Chris-OE5CSP |

Use a small flat-blade screwdriver. Lift the front edge of the connector, which hooks over the front lip of the metal piece that's built into the plastic connector. It's designed to work this way. You shouldn't break it.

Insert a small flat screw driver between the plastic and the metal from the font and lift just anough and pull back or push.

They are simple to remove, there is a special tool, but a very small screwdriver will work.
Put it in the 'front' end, just under the contact and press the leaf spring that holds the contact in down. Unfortunately, APP is not widely used in Europe, and can be expensive and
hard to find. Insert a small jeweler's screwdriver or an Xacto blade under the curved metal piece to unlock it from the front of the plastic housing. Then push it out the back with another small screwdriver blade. If the wire is still attached you can simply pull on that once the front lip is released. I've done it many times. You can free the contact with a small screwdriver and then either push it out with another tool or grab the other end with thin long-nose pliers or tweezers.
