Battery Question.

Jimmy Lee-4
I have a K2 and would like to install the internal battery.  What is the best way to use and maintain this battery?  I  use the K2 mostly at home on AC and an occasional visit to a park and etc.
Thanks,
Jimmy

Re: Battery Question.

Don Wilhelm-3
Jimmy,

You can keep the battery charged with a power supply that has an output
voltage of 14.1 volts.

OR - you can use one of the Smartchargers to keep the battery charged.
Unfortunately, those require a direct connection to the battery.  If you
would like more information on how to do that, take a look at the
article on my website http://w3fpr.qrpradio.com

Hi Jimmy,

The K2 with the internal battery and tuner is definitely a top notch
combination!

I use an A&A smartcharger to charge my internal battery.  Mine is
setup like Don describes, with a fuse to a plug on the back of the K2.

You'll really enjoy the versatility the internal battery gives.
