C238 Mod

Has anyone done the C238 mod where you tack two 0.1mf caps on top of C238 for low signal contest operation?

I believe I saw one post regarding this.  I have the caps but wanted to get feed back as to the effetiveness of this mod.

Hi Toby,

I know of one op who is experimenting with this and other changes, and  
when he gets back to us we'll post an update. One issue with a much-
larger C238 is an increase in decay time of the hardware AGC. Looking  
at other options.
