Cords and connectors are evil

cords?  Talk about old and dust covered analog.  Listen to us, talking
about solving ergonometric problems with patch panels.  Quaint, and a
part of me thinks that's really neat.  Rest of me thinks that's really
retro."

Worse, cords&  cables have CONNECTORS on the end of them.

Electronic systems consist of
cheap, reliable chips on
cheap, reliable cards,
interconnected by

EXPENSIVE, UNRELIABLE, FLAKY cables and connectors. The fewer of them, the better, I say.

But, but, don't tell the telephone company,
and, don't tell the power (electric) companies either.

Maybe you should remove all the wires inside the walls in your home too.

Unh, what do we do about that "cable" between the radio and antenna ....
unh?

The point is, wires (cables) are here to stay. What good are the wire
(cable) without a (aghast) connectors!

In my work, we have a saying.. all system faults are caused by defective
LABLES and CABLES.  ;-)
