David,
As I don't have a K3 (<sigh>), I was wondering if you might post a screen capture of your "baby" in action. {'-) Regards, kurtt Kurt Pawlikowski, AKA WB9FMC The Pinrod Corporation [hidden email] (773) 284-9500 http://pinrod.com David Fleming wrote: > Sorry. Yes. I lack the graphics skills to make the one in KComm look as nice, but as both programs can be run together there is no need for me to anyway. If you want a nice looking S meter use this one. If you use the Virtual Serial Port Emulator which I already use so I can run KComm and Fldigi simultaneously, then it should be possible to run it at the same time as any other logging software (under Windows.) I have had KComm, Fldigi and the S-meter all running at the same time. You can get the Virtual Serial Port Emulator from http://www.eterlogic.com/Products.VSPE.html.

Not to discourage innovation, but I ran the program and as expected it did
only the meter on the radio already does. I have spent too many years working with computers to think anything is neat just because it is done on the computer. Personally I will not use it, as I don't want to have to start a computer program in order to use the radio, unless the computer brings something really spectacular, such as panoramic reception, or digital modes. (While the K3 can do digital modes internally, for my personal purposes I consider it a useless gimmick, just like this software S-meter). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Julian, G4ILO" <[hidden email]> To: <[hidden email]> Sent: Sunday, November 02, 2008 11:31 AM Subject: RE: [Elecraft] Correct Link.. > > > > Dick Dievendorff wrote: >> >> Nice work, David! >> >> 73 de Dick, K6KR _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
