Downgrading

ab2tc
Can somebody please tell me how to downgrade to the last stable firmware version, I believe it is 1.78/1.58? The utility will apparently not let me select an older version of the firmware for downloading in spite of the fact that I have the files.

Re: Downgrading

I am having a problem with the new release.  When I reduce the filter
width to jump from the wide fillter to the next narrower filter in CW
mode, the DSP dies or hangs. I get E 00000C  ERR DSE on the front
display and the RX goes dead.

I also get a very loud squeal when turning ON the rig.  The squeal is
not effected by the AF volume.  It is 1.5 -2 KHz and quite ear
shattering lasting 2-3 seconds.  Is there a straight forward way to
revert to an older firmware like 1.78/1.58?

Regards Ed KE3D

I thought I had the new release working earlier but after dinner the
new symptoms showed up.

Knut,

One easy way to do that is to move the older files to a different folder.
Then point K3 Utility to that folder instead of the default and it will
pick up the latest files in that folder.  Note: uncheck the "Copy new
files from Elecraft ..." just to be safe.
