ELECRAFT K3 - LAPTOP SINGLE RS232 PORT - WITH WRITELOG AND PROPOSED P3 OPERATION

Presently I am running the above, primarily as the K3-Laptop-Wtitelog operation, and wanting to interface the P3 into the station configuration. The vexing question is how ?, hence this enquiry for a possible
solution . Your thoughts will be greatly apreciated to relieve a somewhat tired brain !!.

The P3 connects to the laptop's serial port, and the K3 connects to
the P3. This is covered on page 13 of the P3 Owner's Manual.

John,

Remove the RS-232 cable (PC) from the K3 and plug it into the P3. Use
the supplied RS-232 cable between the P3 and the K3.  All should be well.
