I suggest you test e-mail into your Sales department. I have had previous emails to them about other things go un-answered also. (I wonder if other customers on this reflector experience this as well?)
I have checked my 'junk email, phishing, and spam' files; all empty. I emailed SUPPORT... got a response in an hour or so, and had the cable two
or three days later... fixed it for me. I thought of emailing SALES, but hoped it would not be something I had to purchase... thus SUPPORT. The correct email address to use for fastest customer service on
technical issues like the one below is [hidden email] . We have a whole team watching that address. For spare or missing parts requests, use [hidden email] If you email [hidden email], or any of our support addresses, and don't receive an answer after 1-2 'business' days, -please- call us. (831-763-4211) We are here to help :-) Please remember, the internet is not a 100% guaranteed delivery mechanism. Also, we all introduce typos into our email addresses from time to time, causing our emails to go astray. (I've done that more times than I can count..) Emails from customers sometimes get filtered as SPAM here causing delays, and our replies to emails also are frequently caught in the customer's spam filters. Also, [hidden email] goes to Lisa's account, and if she is out sick for a day, that could cause a delay. One other important note, emails sent mid to late afternoon on Friday California time, or over the weekend, will usually be answered the following Monday. (Some of us do sneak a peak at email over the weekend, but this is not guaranteed.) In rare cases, the email volume received over the weekend can be very high, causing an additional day delay for some replies, pushing them to Tuesday. We try to minimize that, but we can only read and type so fast.. ;-) Also note that we are not on the same time zone (or day) in many cases as the sender. (Important for emails form Eu or Asia). And to repeat, please call us at 831-763-4211 if you are not able to reach us by email. 73, Eric elecraft.com On 3/14/2013 1:12 PM, Richard Fjeld wrote: > I suggest you test e-mail into your Sales department. I emailed them last week about a P3 cable (Support) received an answer
quickly and had the cable 3 days later. They have always been very responsive to emails but have to admit that I always call about anything sales related IMHO phone is best you can ask more questions. 73, Fred/N0AZZ -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of David Bunte Sent: Thursday, March 14, 2013 3:55 PM To: Elecraft List Subject: Re: [Elecraft] Elecraft; Is there a problem with emailing Sales? As Eric pointed out, email to support will normally get a quicker
response than emails to sales - if it is a support question rather than a sales question. There are at least 3 persons monitoring the support emails while the emails to sales are monitored by only one person who may be out for the day or otherwise overloaded with email. I deal with emails to both sales and support for questions about repairs, and I can tell you that the response times to emails to individuals in the sales department indicate that they are very busy. If it involves a question about an order, yes sales is the right email, but if it is a technical question, direct it to support for the most prompt (and accurate) response. 73, Don W3FPR On 3/14/2013 6:21 PM, Fred Smith wrote: > I emailed them last week about a P3 cable (Support) received an answer > quickly and had the cable 3 days later.
