Interesting.
I wonder whether CW keying can be done via USB, like with the serial port now. Currently, KUSB can control both CAT and CW keying. If USB only does CAT, one needs another interface and cable. Ignacy, NO9E |

It would be silly for the USB not to do everything the original RS232
interface could do -- so I am sure that you can do rig control plus CW via the same commands that worked before. The addition of the soundcard for audio in/out is VERY exciting. Per the Elecraft K3S FAQ, the new KIO3B will be available for K3 owners later this year.
