I successfully cured my RFI issues when trying to use my NCL-2000 amplifier
last week! The answer was on the Elecraft website: http://www.elecraft.com/K3/mods/K3_Application_Note_Front_Panel_Microphone_Grounding.pdf Thanks to Paul W9AC for steering me in that direction. My K3 is #75...all of the current K3's had that issue taken care of by Elecraft quite some time ago. There were 28 check-ins from today's operation with Phillipe being the most distant station from this QTH at 7424.9 miles!! He was on just a few minutes before net operations were started. Oh My! My slip-up....I went to college at Wash State Univ. There, the club
station was W7YH....I operated that station a lot during my time there so somehwere in my mind when I hear a YH I sure try to always attach a '7' to it!! You call is now on a 'sticky-note' attached to the edge of the screen!! 73, Roger K7SJ On Sun, May 9, 2010 at 9:08 PM, Augie "Gus" Hansen <[hidden email] > wrote: > On 5/9/2010 9:51 PM, Roger Stein wrote: > > KB7YH,Gus,CO,K3,441 > > ... > > Thanks to Gus KB7YH for some relay work! > > > > I think you and Phil are drinking the same elixir - you're both trying > to change my callsign.
