Phil, NS7P, was away this week.
We began the net at 18:00Z, which was an hour earlier today after the time change, on 14.314. We closed the net at 18:40 with the following 16 check-ins + NCS. I apologize if we missed east coast stations as I did not ask for a direct call to the east from the west until well into the net. The following stations joined us: K0JWC Jim MN K3 3447 (Today's high SN) KK7P Lyle WA K3 0000002 (Lyle's joke, SN 001 is QRT, so he says this is the lowest SN on the air, currently) WB6HPF Al CA K3 974 LA3ZH Leif K3 0116 (nice to have Leif's DX check-in from the southern coast of Norway) W0FM Terry MO K3 474 K3PIN Steve PA K3 2453 KA0NCR Arnie NE K3 185 KE7PZX Al (/7 at 2100 ft. I would hear an occasional voice surface through the noise and don't know if anyone heard me calling. Now that we are into EST rather than EDT there's more of a chance that I'll be available to join the net. Please email me > with what reality is now. we're confused/ :-) Following the pattern use by the Icom net, which has for many years been on or around the same frequency at 1700 UTC all year 'round, the Elecraft net holds to the 1800 UTC start time, so adjustment of local time is needed in all but a few locales that don't honor Daylight Saving Time.
