Elecraft price increases in September

Advance notice for list readers and our loyal Elecraft customers:

We will be increasing prices slightly on the K3 and several other
products during September. If you have been undecided on when to order,
this is your chance.

Orders received before the price increase will be honored at the current
web price as of the order date.

Please don't email or call the factory requesting more details right
now. Our sales staff does not have any info on this as we are still
evaluating what will change. Watch the web order form for the final
changes during Sept.

We are seeing broad increases in component, assembly and labor costs as
competition and activity increases in the Electronics industry. Our
suppliers who held their prices constant during the recent recession
have reached their limit and are increasing pricing to their customers.
We've pushed back and absorbed many of these increases this year, and
have reduced company expenses elsewhere whenever possible, but we
finally must adjust prices a small amount to stay financially strong.

We really appreciate your support and we will keep these increases
reasonable. Our goal since 1998 is to be here for the long run by
managing our finances conservatively, and by bringing you fun to use
high value, and innovative, products. So far its working, thanks to all
of you!

Eric - Thanks as always for the advanced notice; I'm sure I'm not the only
one who appreciates the alert.

I hope we all will reciprocate by honoring your request to NOT ask for
further details.

All I'll say, is shame we can't order the KX3 before the price increase :)

I don't get it. What is a price increase on a product we don't the price in the first place?

Such is life. No problem here. Never had a complaint with my K3 or the
new KPA500. Or what little I've had to deal with Elecraft about.
Actually only 1 very minor thing & they were great. I wish I could order
the KAT500 before the rise but so be it. I see the small promo on the
KAT500 is off the web site. I hope there's no delay. Elecraft is worlds
above any other brand I've used.
