How about a FAQ page for the P3 like the one for the K3?

Re: FAQ

Why don't you guys give this whole "P3" thing a rest for a bit.  Let Eric
and Wayne get recovered from their ordeal at Santa Barbara, give them some
time to put together some meaningful info and post it, and then you can
resume barraging them with your "want" list.  It's going to be several
months before you even see a production model, so there's plenty of time to
digest what they offer as their initial intentions.  I know it's exciting!
I'm excited too!  But until you get the preliminaries, a lot of these emails
just don't make sense.  It just clogs up the reflector.

Re: FAQ

Brett Howard
Respectfully I disagree.  Any and all ideas are good to have here.
Especially now.  What we don't need are any comments of talking down
about ideas.  No matter how grandiose the ideas are welcomed and if you
read what Eric and Wayne say they also welcome them.  What they don't
welcome is people talking down to others about their ideas.  Thats for
Eric and Wayne to do in private. hihi... ;)

I'll even take this opportunity to state that I'd like to see the P3
also include the ability to get I/Q outputs.  I'd like to not have to
have a LP-PAN to get the data into the computer but heck if I have to at
least it will be in good company with the LP-100A.  Maybe I'll got for
the much more expensive and less cables SDR-IQ solution but we'll have
to see how the P3 does first.

Guys - We want the P3 discussion to keep flowing, within reason. Of
course, there is no need to get overly agitated about what may or may
not be part of the P3, since we have not even announced to finished
developing all of its features.

But if you have a good idea or desire that makes sense as part of the
base P3, feel free to post it.

Please refrain from voting pro/con on any ideas posted. That -does- clog
the list and really increases the overall noise level.

and please -do not- criticize others for posting anything to the list.
(This is part of the list guidelines.)

If you have a complaint, send it my way.

Also, please do not copy my email address if you post to the list. I get
duplicate copies of everything that way, which rapidly clogs my inbox. :-0

You don't want to know what my normal daily email volume is.. ;-)
