FD with K3's

Early post, but I leave tomorrow for our FD site, and www access is limited.  If you work K5M/3A-WTX you will be working an all K3 FD effort.  One on SSB, one on CW, and one on the digi modes.  We bought the K3 just for this and from all reports and tests, will no longer have inter-station QRM!!!

And if you work K8EPV on CW in Field Day it will be a K3 on 40M and a pair of K2's on the 80/20 station.  That's what we did last year, and it worked well enough that we're doing it again!

WS4Y in Kansas will be using my K3 on CW so stop by and work us.  We will be 2A and will be using an IC-7200 for the SSB station and I believe an FT-100D for 6 meters.

Howdy all:

I thought I'd chime in on this...

The UDXA is going to be a 4A class operation this year. We'll be using 3 K3s
and 1 FT-1000. We have plans for setting up the antennas, so it will be
interesting to see how it all works when we start transmitting. Also, we'll
be doing two CW and two SSB stations.

Our site is roughly in central Utah at about 9,000 feet in elevation. We are
all hoping for wall to wall blue sky and no thunder storms.
