I have a tricky question to ask the group.

I have been told not to worry if I couldn't afford to buy a K2, just buy a K1
and then when I had the balance saved, I would have no problem selling the K1.

This K1 has been listed for sale for longer than I have seen _any_ for sale
rig last on this list.

Come to think of it I don't remember seeing any other K1's listed for sale on
the list. (granted I've only been on the list for about a month) Am I being
mislead on the resalability of the K1?

Well Sam, first this is the first time I've listed this K1.  I think
you're confusing this one with another that may have been listed.  I
listed it yesterday (first time) and as of today the rig is sold pending
funds.  There is a market for used Elecraft gear.

I bought the K1 because I wanted to taste some of the Elecraft Mojo for
myself.  I ran it for a while and was impressed enough to order a K2.
The K1 is sweet but is more field oriented than I like.  I expect the K2
to be a better base rig and am looking forward to having it on the air.
