FS: KX1 3-Band

Jeremy Cowgar-2
I purchased the KX1 for portable use but never really got around to
using it, therefore I am going to sell the radio. I am attempting to
focus my extra "hobby" efforts onto Ultralight Aircraft Flying. I
will be keeping one radio around (FT-840) for CW work.

The KX1 SN is 01221. I built the radio. I have built other complex
radios in the past such as my K2 (sold already), ATS-3 and various
other simpler radios (TenTec 1330, NW30, etc...). The radio is a
great performer and is fully functional. The only additional module
installed is the 30 meter module. This is not the 3080 module, it is
only the 30 module.

I am asking $225 for the radio, the buy pays shipping. Retail is 289
+ 29 for the 30m module, and that's minus the time taken to build. I
am trying to collect some funds to purchase an ultralight aircraft
again.

I can supply pictures if anyone wishes to see some. The radio is in
perfect shape. It has sat on my desk, never taken portable :-(

I did have a request for photos, so I took a few and uploaded them to:

I have been wanting to give iWeb with my Mac a try, so I did so with
this site.
