FW Loading error

ayoshida
I tried to load FW ver2.76. (previouly ver2.67)

Just after starting loading process it stops with error massage.
I do not remember what message is.
Now display shows only "MCU LD" and "TX" LED blinks.
Pushing "Power" sw does not work at all.

TX LED goes out if unpluging DC cable. But it blinks again if pluging
DC cable and plushing "Power" sw.
I tried above with unpluging RS232c cable but had sane result.

Holding shift/Lo knob and pushing "Power" sw does not work at all.

This is first experience. All FW update has been OK without error.

Any idea please.

Re: FW Loading error

This problem has been solved.

(1)Re-load previous rev of FW 2.67 and it finishes properly.
(2)Loading rev 2.76 finishes properly this time.

strange but solved !

Thanks all for your help.

RE: FW Loading error

Aki-san:

Reboot your computer.

Turn on the K3. You should expect a blinking red Tx LED light and the words
"MCU LD" in a darkened display. This is the "K3 boot loader" mode.

Start the K3 Utility. On the Port tab, click "Test Communications".  If the
K3 Utility can communicate with the K3 you should see a message that says
"K3 boot loader is ready for MCU firmware load. RS232 38400 bps".

If you don't see this, then you should suspect the RS-232 cable.  Are you
using a USB to Serial adapter or a computer RS-232 9-pin serial port?

If the K3 Utility is able to communicate with the K3, then go to the
Firmware tab and click "Send All Firmware".
