I disagree. The YaeComWood moniker implies these appliances are
interchangeable/indistinguishable. The Elecraft rigs most certainly are not! Dan / WG4S / K2 #2456 <snip> I suggest a more proper reference might be "YETI" -- for Yaesu / Elecraft / Tentec / and Icom. </snip> _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Maybe it should be something more along the lines of ...
IT YAKS (Icom-TenTec Yaesu-Alinco-Kenwood-SGC) ... what most appliance operators do with their commercial radios or... ITS a YAK (big hairy animal used as a beast of burden - not to be confused with some ham radio operators) or... maybe even ATIYKS (where you're Alinco-TenTec-Icom-Yaesu-Kenwood-SGC radio will end up after you buy an Elecraft). I'm afraid that's the best I can do ;-) and, no, I don't play Scrabble. 72/73, Daniel / AA0NI K2 #3421 (... who REALLY wanted to operate Field Day, but ended up moving in a few essentials to his new home and made good friends with the neighbors instead - but who is itching to put a 175' stealthy longwire NVIS antenna on his wooden backyard fence and a 20' compact loop for 20m in his attic) --- Dan Barker <[hidden email]> wrote: > I disagree. Sorry - Yahoo! mail kept saying invalid mailbox state each time I clicked
'send'. My deepest apologies for the repeated posting to the list. - Daniel _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
