Foot Extensions fro KAT500/KPA500

k4vd
My KAT500 sits on top of the KPA500. The manual says it's OK but I would
like to add clearance to improve air flow. Does anyone have an elegant
solution to raise the KAT500 above the KPA500?

Put it on the bottom, it doesn’t generate much if any heat.

Thanks Ed and Bill. That probably should have been obvious but I have this
issue with overthinking.

I put my KAT500 on the bottom because it made cable management easier.  There are no coax cables hanging over the back of the KPA500 so no strain on the cables/jacks.  A secondary benefit is that the KPA500 vents are unobstructed so no spacing is required.  Ken WA2LBI LG G6 ------ Original message------From: Kevin, N4TTDate: Thu, Aug 15, 2019 16:22To: Elecraft Reflector Reflector;Cc: Subject:Re: [Elecraft] Foot Extensions fro KAT500/KPA500Thanks Ed and Bill.
