All of a sudden, I'm getting a strange icon on every band change. It
appears momentarily only. Looks like an antenna symbol with a bar across the top. Has anyone any idea what this icon represents, it's probably due to some menu change I've inadvertently made, not seen it previously. Press and HOLD the ANT button and you can assign a name for ANT1 and ANT2. Change from character to character with VFO B and select the required characters with VFO A. The symbol represents an antenna, but I am at a loss as to why it has a line across the top. 73 -- David G4DMP Leeds, England, UK ------ _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Thank David, had already assigned a name to ANT1, this icon is still
present to the left of the antenna name. It's not causing any problems, I'm just curious as to what the hell it is/ Thanks David Pratt wrote: > In a recent message, Malcolm Rothwell <[hidden email]> wrote ... >> Has anyone any idea what this icon represents, it's probably due to >> some menu change I've inadvertently made, not seen it previously. > > Press and HOLD the ANT button and you can assign a name for ANT1 and > ANT2. It represents an antenna. :)
Check the manual as you can assign an alpha-numeric name for Antenna 1 and Antenna 2. 73 Greg AB7R -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]]On Behalf Of Malcolm Rothwell Sent: Sunday, February 17, 2008 3:45 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: [Elecraft] Front Panel Icons All of a sudden, I'm getting a strange icon on every band change.
