Front Panel Icons

Malcolm Rothwell
All of a sudden, I'm getting a strange icon on every band change. It
appears momentarily only. Looks like an antenna symbol with a bar across
the top.

Has anyone any idea what this icon represents, it's probably due to some
menu change I've inadvertently made, not seen it previously.

Thanks

Press and HOLD the ANT button and you can assign a name for ANT1 and
ANT2.  Change from character to character with VFO B and select the
required characters with VFO A.

The symbol represents an antenna, but I am at a loss as to why it has a
line across the top.

Re: Front Panel Icons

Thank David, had already assigned a name to ANT1, this icon is still
present to the left of the antenna name. It's not causing any problems,
I'm just curious as to what the hell it is/

Thanks

It represents an antenna.  :)

Check the manual as you can assign an alpha-numeric name for Antenna 1 and
Antenna 2.

The Inverted Triangle With a vertical line through it is a standard
schematic symbol for an antenna.
Look at the K3 Op Manual last page - Block diagram - upper right  corner.

It will appear when you assign an antenna a name by holding down the ANT
button.
