Headphone distribution amp/splitter which was mentioned a short while back...

Tom Hammond-2
Greetings fellow Elecrafters...

A while back, maybe 2-3 weeks ago anyway, someone (in EU, if I recall) posted
a link to a headphone amp/splitter box which they're recently purchased.

I visited the link, but seem to have lost it in the hubbub of getting ready
for Field Day 2009... BUT I's really like to find the link again.

Actually, I;m not all that interested in THAT device, but it included info on
the op amps they were using for the individual headphone amplifiers,
and when I followed that link, it took me to a comment about some
even more robust
op amps which were available for the same purpose... THOSE op amps are what I
really am looking for, but this may be best way to find them again.

Thanks,

73,

Tom Hammond    N0SS

Darwin, Keith
Small box, big price.  Before I bought that, I'd look at what was
available from American Musical Supply, Musicians Friend, or Sweetwater
Sound.

www.americanmusical.com
www.musiciansfriend.com
www.sweetwater.com

Search for "headphone amplifier" or "headphone distribution".

... assuming you in the USA.

A search for "behringer headphone amp" will bring up some relevant info.
You may have visited the Behringer site (www.behringer.com) for the
details you seek.

Not sure about the US, but for anyone wanting this in the UK, take a
look at CPC -

just what I've been looking for FD - 4 outputs with Volume controls on
each and 12v supply (extra, but I have 12v coming out of my ears!)
