Heil pro set

Saw it mentioned somewhere but is it the kenwood adaptor required for  
the K3!!

Ken,

If you plug the ProSet into the front panel, yes, the Kenwood adapter is
the right one.
On the K3 it can be plugged into the rear panel with no adapter.

The ProSet-K2 and the ProSet-iC have electret elements and need bias
turned on.  The others are dynamic and need no bias.

If you want to connect it to front panel microphone connector, yes. But the
K3 also has a microphone jack on the back panel and then you don't need the
Kenwood adaptor.
For my Pro Set plus I use the jacks on the back and I use a Kenwood hand
microphone on the front.
