I recently received a vanity call, KB6G from the FCC. My previous call was
AE6RH. when I applied for a KB6G license plate in California, the DMV told me that license was still in use and I can't have it. This was even after I submitted their form and a letter and a copy of my new license... I found KB6G's contact info once before, but didn't write it down, and now QRZ only shows me, but I know that some hams use databases on disk, so if anyone can send me his contact info, I'll write him, or his estate, a note. thank you -- Ron Midwin ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Hi Ron,
I used to be KB0G, so your message kind of popped out at me. I had a couple of qsos with KB6G in 1982 & 1988 and have a qsl for one of them. From the FCC Database: KB6G belonged to Thomas W. Moyer, 1734 Austin Ave., Los Altos, CA 94022. The license expired 12/20/2010 and shows cancelled 12/21/2012.
